Rare antique French "Anonymous" perfume and/or cosmetic labels in sets of 10. The exact perfume house for this specific, un-texted monogram label is historically anonymous, as it is an authentic piece of "no-text" generic stock produced by early 20th-century French lithographers. The rich purple field, gold-foiled leaf filigree, and fluid Art Nouveau monogram resemble early 20th-century fragrance packaging, often used for classic floral scents such as Violettes de Parme (Parma Violet) or Heliotrope. During the Golden Age of French perfumery (circa 1890s–1920s), major printing houses in Paris and Grasse manufactured large batches of high-quality, lavishly embossed, gold-foiled labels. They left the banner spaces blank or featured only an aesthetic monogram. Local pharmacies, boutique perfume houses, or neighborhood merchants purchased this ready-made "old warehouse stock" to save on custom printing costs.
